TD5 Advanced
The TWINDRIVE ® TD5 is a dual actuator especially developed for box-spring beds, where a high force is required. With a force of 7,000 N on both back and leg ends, the TD5 is the strongest dual actuator in the LINAK HOMELINE ® portfolio. The TD5 Advanced is for more advanced bed systems requiring up to two extra motors in addition to back and leg adjustment. The TD5 Advanced features a memory function enabling the user to save favorite positions.
The TD5 features the well-known LINAK® ZERO™ technology, allowing a standby power of max. 0.1 W. This means that the TD5 sleeps when the user sleeps. The TD5 features Bluetooth® Low Energy technology, which makes it capable of being controlled via wireless LINAK hand controls, so that the user avoids having an annoying cable.
Furthermore, it makes it possible to control the bed via the Bed Control™ App, offering even more valuable features to the end user. The TD5 is lightweight and a slim design. Because it is also easy to mount, thanks to the pictograms on the side and smart closing devices, the TD5 is optimal for shipping - even directly to the end user.
The TD5 has an integrated Under Bed Light, which distributes the light evenly on the floor, allowing the user to find their way in the dark. The TD5 features mechanical emergency lowering via a hex key directly attached on the side of the TD5 – always in place when needed, for example, in case of a power cut.

Digital control options for adjustable beds - Adjust your bed with a mobile device
Pairing the Bed Control™ App to an adjustable double bed with a TD4/TD5 system
- Download and open the app and follow the onboarding flow.
- Choose ”Double bed” as your bed type.
- Unplug the power of one bed for 60 seconds and plug it in again.
- A light under the bed flashes to indicate pairing mode – a long flash means successful pairing.
- Unplug the power of the other bed for 60 seconds and plug it in again.
- Name both beds.
- Choose number of motors. If the beds can adjust leg + back, you have two motors. If they can perform additional adjustments, you have 3 or 4 motors.
- To adjust the bed, tab to the part you want to move and use the arrows. Scroll sideways at the bed names to choose which bed to operate.
Pairing the Bed Control™ App to an adjustable single bed with a TD4/TD5 system
- Download and open the app and follow the onboarding flow.
- Choose ”Single bed” as your bed type.
- Unplug the power of the bed for 60 seconds and plug it in again.
- A light under the bed flashes to indicate pairing mode – a long flash means successful pairing.
- Name your bed.
- Choose number of motors. If the bed can adjust leg + back, you have two motors. If it can perform additional adjustments, you have 3 or 4 motors.
- To adjust the bed, tab to the part you want to move and use the arrows.
Pairing the Bed Control™ App to an adjustable synchronized double bed with a TD4/TD5 advanced system
Be aware that this requires a wired connection between the two TD4 or TD5 Advanced motors.
- Download and open the app and follow the onboarding flow.
- Choose ”Double bed - synchronized” as your bed type.
- Unplug the power of the bed for 60 seconds and plug it in again.
- A light under the bed flashes to indicate pairing mode – a long flash means successful pairing.
- Name your bed.
- Choose number of motors. If the bed can adjust leg + back, you have two motors. If it can perform additional adjustments, you have 3 or 4 motors.
- To adjust the bed, tab to the part you want to move and use the arrows.

Parallel drive with the TD4/TD5 Advanced
How to connect a TD4/TD5 Advanced system and use parallel drive
The system consists of:
2 x TD4/TD5 Advanced
2 x Switch Mode Power Supply
1 x Serial cable
1 x Bluetooth® hand control
- Connect 2 x SMPS to the 2 x TD4/TD5 Advanced
- Use one serial cable to connect the two TD4/TD5 Advanced
- Connect both actuators to a power outlet
- Pair the hand control
- The TD4/TD5 system will now run in parallel when using the hand control
