Médecins Sans Frontières

We support Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to help people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. MSF advocates for access to essential medicines and treatments. Médecins Sans Frontières translates to Doctors without Borders and operates internationally as an independent, medical humanitarian organisation.

Red Cross

For more than 25 years, LINAK has supported the Red Cross organisation. We have among others provided aid to the civilian population of Kosovo in the late 90s, to the victims of the Asian tsunami, to refugee children and their families in Syria, to the war victims in Ukraine and, more recently, to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

We care about nature

LINAK has entered a Corporate Partnership with WWF – World Wide Fund for Nature. Nature is everyone's responsibility, and it needs our help to survive. We support WWF's efforts to protect nature, change behaviour and drive conservation results, so people and nature can thrive.

SOS Børnebyerne

By supporting SOS Children's Villages in Denmark, LINAK aims at improving the educational outcomes for vulnerable children worldwide. Through our sponsorship, we strive to help achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Danmarks Indsamling

LINAK supports Danmarks Indsamling – the united Danish appeal for funds – helping children to a better life and a brighter future with clean drinking water, education, and medical care. The appeal for funds takes place every year, where 12 humanitarian organisations and Danmarks Radio (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation) come together in a huge TV show where private people and companies can donate to help people in some of the world’s poorest countries reach some of UN’s 17 Global Goals.

Danske Hospitalsklovne

Through sponsorship of the Danish hospital clowning organisation Danske Hospitalsklovne, LINAK supports the 75,000 children who are hospitalised in Denmark every year. The organisation trains “clown doctors”, who work every day across the country to strengthen the joy and courage of life in sick and vulnerable children. They do this in close collaboration with professionals in paediatric wards, child and adolescent psychiatric wards and specialised areas.

Julemærkefonden

LINAK supports the fight against bullying and loneliness in childhood. By sponsoring the 100-year-old foundation, Julemærkefonden, we help children who are not thriving to recover at temporary homes known as the Julemærkehjem. The foundation runs five Julemærkehjem providing a safe everyday life for the children. The aim is to give the children a new start, promote their physical and mental health and give them a sense of joy and dignity.

Knæk Cancer

‘Knæk Cancer’ roughly translates into “Beat cancer”, and it is a collaboration between TV2 (Danish state-owned public service TV channel) and Kræftens Bekæmpelse (The Danish Cancer Society). The funds they collect are dedicated to cancer research, patient support, and preventive measures to reduce the number of cancer incidents, improve survival rates, and enhance the quality of life after cancer.

BØRNS VILKÅR

BØRNS VILKÅR is dedicated to protecting children in Denmark – no child should be left alone with their problems or neglected by a loved one or society. Since 1977, BØRNS VILKÅR has worked to stop neglect and fought for the children’s right to a safe childhood. Children are the most important beings we have, and they are our shared responsibility.
