In order to help manufacturers and designers create first-class pedestal recliners with smooth and low-noise movement, we have developed systems that provide several benefits – especially when space is scarce and the risk of squeezing cables is high. These systems allow us to reduce the number of cables and to make the systems much easier to mount.
Space-saving set-up
LINAK® adjustment systems for recliners consist of two or more LA10 actuators, connected in a series. Plug in the tailor-made LINAK Bluetooth® dongle to one of the actuators in the series and connect wirelessly to the chair’s control unit or app. In the LINAK recliner system, we use Power Line Communication - a technology that sends both power and data through the same cable - removing several cables and elements (e.g., the traditional control box) from the system. Fewer cables to worry about, and fewer causes of quality issues later.
Quick to assemble and easy to use
We have made sure there is only one way to connect the LA10 actuators, i.e., it is almost impossible to go wrong. It is easy and intuitive to put the system together and to place it inside your application without compromising your design. We also made it simple for you to reconfigure the system yourself. If you need other configurations, simply use our hands-on configurator. It does not get much easier than that. Just plug and play.
No discharge during longer periods
With the new Battery BA002, you can now store batteries without the need to recharge at regular intervals. With its deep sleep mode, you can confidently use the BA002 directly after shipping or storage, without the risk of it being discharged. In other words, the battery will hold its charge through longer periods of downtime.
The BA002 is a very compact and powerful battery; it is simple to integrate into any kind of pedestal recliner and blends seamlessly with its design. Intelligent features, such as wireless control and audible battery status, are included to make life even more comfortable for consumers.
Simple charging
The battery can be charged in three ways: with a jack connector, a cable connection with a safety release cable, or a magnetic charging point. With the Charging Point CP003, the power cable snaps into place with a magnet to connect the chair to power. If someone trips on the cable, it simply pulls out of the chair without damaging the system.
Digital comfort
Use the My Recliner™ App to offer your customers even more options to adjust your LINAK-powered recliner. The app reduces the complexity in handsets with an intuitive and user-friendly interface. Consumers can also access additional features in the Premium subscription to enhance the overall experience of the recliner. Choose to use the LINAK app or customize it to make your own.
