Governance

At LINAK®, strong governance is the foundation of our commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability. We believe that effective governance practices are essential to maintaining the trust of our stakeholders and ensuring the long-term success of our organisation.

Sustainability governance is anchored in our Sustainability Committee. The Committee decides on the LINAK strategy and approach to sustainability. The Committee consists of 15 people from LINAK HQ representing all areas of LINAK. The Committee leaders are our Vice President of Quality and our Vice President of HR.

At operational level, sustainability is integrated throughout the organisation without a dedicated sustainability department. Instead, tasks related to sustainability, e.g. data collection, risk mitigation, and progress reporting, are managed within individual departments by those who possess the relevant expertise.

This approach ensures that sustainability is a shared responsibility and embedded in our everyday operations.

Reporting through EcoVadis™

EcoVadis is a globally recognised platform that provides sustainability ratings for companies, helping them assess and improve their environmental, social, and ethical performance. The EcoVadis rating system evaluates companies across a range of criteria, including environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. We use EcoVadis to evaluate and enhance our sustainability performance. And we use the insights to support our customers, providing them with the data and information needed to understand and advance their sustainability journeys.

In 2024, we received a “Committed” badge rating, reflecting our dedication to sustainable practices and ongoing efforts to improve. By using EcoVadis, we not only strengthen our commitment to sustainability but also empower our customers to make informed decisions and foster a more sustainable future.
